basically- we're attempting to remove ourselves from a toxic situation that is severely damaging our ability to function like normal human beings because of the lack of safety in our lives. 

we'e both taking donations and commissions, and I'm still finding rhythm in this auctionables business to bring in more cash. anything helps, if you can spare it! thanks a ton (from us both) as always.

WHAT ARE DOPPELGANGERS: 
Doppelganger; [noun] an inter-dimensional, sexless creature able to take the form of any person, thing, or object with the ability to ignore time and space as it exists. individuals with widely varying personalities, Doppelgangers' use their shapeshifting abilities to observe and learn from the occupants of dimensions they find themselves in. It is unknown how they reproduce. 

Natural forms commonly have four limbs, two heads (one "normal" head and another at the end of the tail), 4 fingers and a thumb on each hand, four eyes, and a neutral-coloured base skin tone.  

With the ability to change into any real or imagined form, their only shapeshifting flaw is their inability to change their skin patterns to replicate the forms they are taking. (EX: even when human, skin tone remnants of their base form's patterns, while faint, will remain.) 

Doppelgangers are a knowledge-hungry race, run by a hierarchy system determined by amounts of information gathered. Their bodies act like giant brains, swelling and changing in proportion to information gained. New sets of eyes open along their bodies with age and wisdom. Generally, older Doppelgangers are usually stockier in form and larger than "newborns". 
 

DOPPELGANGER OWNERSHIP

• editing is allowed of facial structures (both faces), ears, any horns and small changes to patterns/colours 
• display names are for display only, and can be completely changed
• tails and tail heads must remain some level of "different" from the rest of their bodies.
• extra eyes cannot be officially added to natural forms (but are completely acceptable to draw for fun otherwise)
• !!! AS OF 9/30/14 - RESELLING OF THE CHARACTER IS NOT ALLOWED. If ownership is no longer desired the owner will return the design back to myself where I have the right to put it back up for sale to a new owner.
